Why I do what I do
Janelle Cross, owner of Cross Lighthouse Solutions is an educator, credit coach, wife and mother. A graduate of James Madison University and The George Washington University, I dedicated twenty years to the public school system as an elementary school teacher, lead teacher, tutor and curriculum writer. In June of 2019, I decided to leave the public school system and devote my time to my four children as a homeschool mom. Even as a homeschool mom, I continued my education. I obtained a Project Management Essentials Certificate and certification as a Personal Finance Educator. I also enrolled in Smart Credit University received proper education about building wealth, improving personal and business credit, and financial health. November 2024, I successfully completed the requirements to become an Elite Certified Credit Coach, Smart Credit Solutions, demonstrating exceptional expertise in credit education and financial empowerment.
